Responsible to create and maintain the framework of strong and robust cash reconciliation controls is the Business Unit, ensuring that the managed cash assets with the Business unit are fully protects, by checking the completeness and effectiveness of the key cash controls operating within the Branch.
Key Tasks and responsibilities:
➢ lead and drive the cash reconciliation performance of the Business Unit, in accordance with the company accounting procedures enabling the business unit to achieve business plan objectives.
➢ To proactively communicate with key customer reconciliation teams from business unit perspective, to resolve issues and develop improvements to agreed processes.
> Ensure all the data entered on time in the Ledgers by cash processing team before the reporting deadlines with enough time and in case of any delay in reporting to communicate with the customer before deadline.
> Corresponds with users and providers of documentation to ensure data is relevant, up to date, accurate, complete and provided in a timely manner.
➢ support the performance of relevant group cash projects, ensuring outputs are applied consistently and accurately across the business unit.
Ensure all the daily balancing reports are completed and submitted to the customers in a timely manner and Confirm that all the daily balancing reports are confirmed and signed by the customer on daily basis and filed with the 3-way balance report.
Escalate to head of cash in case customer does not confirm daily reports.
Ensure all the claims and discrepancies are entered and updated in the management tool (Discrepancy Software) on daily basis with all the required information and Carry out discrepancy trending to identify and patterns weekly and monthly basis.
Conduct analyses with help of the discrepancies software to identify any systemic discrepancies within the CPC.
Minimum degree level, an accountant or qualified by experience
.. Good English communication skills and Excellent knowledge of MS office.

. Financial/Reconciliation control expertise an advantage.
