The Ministry of Health of Kuwait announced Wednesday that the lethal novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has claimed the lives of more 7 people in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll up to 82.
In his daily coronavirus update, the Health Ministry Spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad stated that 751 people have tested positive for the highly contagious virus today, increasing the overall number of infections in the country to 11028.
Today’s cases include
103 Citizens,
233 Indians,
193 Egyptians and
72 Bangladeshi.
Highest cases were reported from
Farwaniya 93,
Hawally 69,
Salmiya 63 and
Mahboula 60.
Farwaniya Governorate reported 261 cases, Capital governorate 93 Cases, Hawally 180, Ahmadi 153 and Jahra Governorates reported 64
Cases
He pointed out that 169 patients were in intensive care, 77 of them are in critical condition.
Earlier, the Health Ministry announced the recovery of 162 COVID-19 patients, bringing the total to 3,263 recoveries.
