130 KD for expats in Kuwait health insurance?
Starting from January 2020 the health insurance fee for expatriates will be KD 130, which will be hiked every two year, local media Al Qabas reported.
Local media Al-Qabas reported that the Health insurance fee for expatriates will be 130 KD, which gradually hiked after two years in 2022/2023 to KD 150 and in 2024/2025 it will be KD 170, and KD 190 in 2026/2027 per resident.
At present, the health insurance fee for expatriate is 50 KD.
If the figures are correct, this will have a huge negative impact on large number of expatriates in the country, specially those in the lower income range.
